Our Origin Story
It was the morning of February 10th, 2021, when Olivia walked through the doors of her new workplace, unaware that someone had been waiting for her arrival long before she even knew his name.
Months before, a list of names had circulated. New hires. To most, it was just routine news. But to Bagus, one name stood out, hers. He couldn’t say why. He had never seen her face, never heard her voice. But her name lingered, as if his heart had quietly taken note of something yet to come. When she finally arrived, the world didn’t pause, but something within him did.
Their colleagues, ever the cheerful conspirators, began to tease and matchmake, as if sensing that two paths had started to bend gently toward each other. And on February 14th, in a gesture that held more than it seemed, Bagus sent Olivia a schedule of church mass. Not a love letter, not yet. But enough to open the first page of something beautiful.
Days unfolded gently into weeks. What began in formalities soon found warmth in familiarity, in conversations that lingered after hours, motorbike rides through the rush of Jakarta’s streets. Even the simplest office trips became little adventures, especially when they lost their way, and found each other instead. And somewhere between the city’s chaos and their quiet moments, love grew, unspoken at first, but deeply felt.
Together, they walked through days of joy, challenge, and everything in between. And in those moments, their love deepened rooted not only in laughter and ease, but in patience, resilience, and choosing each other again and again.
Two years passed, and in December 2023, beneath the skies of Manado, they promised their hearts.
Not with grand declarations, but with the certainty of two souls who had found home in one another.
Now, hand in hand, they walk forward, not toward a perfect life, but a shared one. And in that, they have found something far greater.
